I think it was a combination of the quality time spent with them with our pretty aprons as well as the yummy end product that we got to enjoy for days that I enjoyed so much. I spend a lot of my day in the kitchen now as we like to eat healthy, whole foods for the most part and not a lot of processed food. One of my goals for 2017 is to be the healthiest that I have ever been. With that in mind and with my husband training regularly for running marathons, we have changed our diet and lifestyle to be vegetarians. It has been fun looking for new recipes, learning new things and appreciating real food, it’s aromas and natural tastes. It also helps me to stop and think about what I’m eating through the day to make sure that we are getting all of the nutrients that we need. The recipes and photos you see will be mostly vegetarian dishes and healthy sweets.
